Recap for "The Sword of Senack"

Today’s “recap” completes the adage I quoted last Saturday:
First you ‘em what you’re going to tell ‘em.
Then you tell ‘em.
Then you tell ‘em what you told ‘em.
Last Saturday was “preview”; Tuesday was “present”—that is, I told you about The Sword of Senack. Today is “recap”—my final sharing of Elisa’s fantastical fantasy novel.
I’m recapping with a multiple-choice quiz. By each of the nine pictures below is a question. You can find all the answers in the posting I did on Tuesday entitled: The Sword of Senack: A Fantastic Fantasy. I’ve inserted the nine answers at the end of this posting. 5. That was fun. I only got six correct, but that surprised me. Some of those neurons or whatever they are must be still firing up. You have read Harry Potter, I see.

What a clever way to promote this book and I hope you had us much fun as your readers with this test. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, Dee.

    1. Dear Penny, . . . I'd say those neurons had fired! And yes, I've been a Harry Potter fan since the first book. I have all the books, the movies, and the unabridged books on tape. I've listened, read, and watched all of them at least five times.

If you like fantasy, I think you'll like the underwater cycle that Elisa is writing. She's extremely creative and imaginative.

I hope your weekend is being a good one also. Peace.

  8. You are so clever in the way you have share your enthusiasm for the book. I don't normally enjoy Fantasy--I'm the only person in the world who hasn't read even one Harry Potter book...LOL! But you've got me wondering if this isn't the time to branch out in a new direction. THe illustrations you selected to accompany your questions are just beautiful! Debra

    1. Dear Debra, Please see my response to Penny's comment. It will show just how much of a Harry Potter fan I am. And now I'm a fan of the Mer-son cycle, of which "The Sword of Senack" is the first volume. If you want to try fantasy, it's a good place to start.

Glad you liked the illustrations. I'm so grateful to be able to go to Wikipedia and find ones for the blog.

      Peace.

  10. What a wonderful job you have done describing the wonders in this book. I would definitely not have understood how special it is, why it was written, and why I must read it, if it weren't for your write up.

    1. Dear Inger, . . . I so want Elisa's books to do well because she writes with such imagination. She's one of the most creative people I've ever known. I'm glad you are thinking about reading it. But give yourself time to recoup from these past weeks of ailment before settling down to read. Peace.

  11. This book sounds so exciting. I wish my Kindle would hurry up and come...Ahh Patience..I admire people who have such vast imaginations. I lived in a story world until I was fourty nine years and came out of a thirty plus years of trauma. It was the one thing, besides my faith that kept me sane.. And at times I wonder if I am sane?? Perhaps we are all a little mad, I laugh at myself when I fall over with my brummy knee, so must be..LOL

    1. Dear Arleen, I'm sorry to hear that you've not been well. Don't worry about catching up. That takes so much time when you read quite a number of blogs. For my blog, I suggest that you just start with the present and move forward! I"m always glad to read a comment from you. And I appreciate your stopping by. Peace.
